![]() Every bride, like every woman, is different. Some are really easy going and need advice on their cake design, and some know exactly what they want. Uyen was defiantly the latter, which makes my job meeting her expectations much easier. If I know exactly what's in my bride's head, it's much easier to execute. Uyen wanted red velvet cupcakes, with cream cheese frosting, but wanted to do something a little different. She saw an amazing cupcake/cake pop display in a bride's magazine and decided that was it. She also wanted roses covering the topper cake and the cupcakes. The first picture is the second batch of test cupcakes. I had to make sure I could duplicate the rose technique (now I can't seem to stop!). I hand brushed them with a gold edible paint, to give them a shine. They came out beautifully, as did the final wedding cake. The cake pops are vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.
