My friend Maggie is in town visiting from Hong Kong and wanted to surprise a friend of hers with a birthday cake. The cake initially started as a camera, but then changed into a hot tub as her friend had recently been working on repairing one for a local community. Learning from my past hot tub experience, I asked the client if she wanted a round or square hot tub. Maggie said square, which would make my niece happy. After making the last hot tub for my niece's birthday, I asked her if she liked her cake. Her reply was "It's great Auntie, but I thought it was going to be square". Sorry kiddo! The big difference between this cake and the last one is that I hand crafted the figures out of fondant/gumpaste.
